The event will take place from 23-26 September 2010 in The Hague, The Netherlands.
The Aspects of Compounding Summit is the third in the BEAM series of projects underpinned by the European Association of Hospital pharmacy. (see http://www.eahp.eu/BEAM-Summit). It is under the auspices of the Academy which is part of the educational ‘arm’ of the EAHP.
The BEAM project is a sponsored training and facilitation series of summits based on the cascade principle of dissemination. Specifically Aspects of Compounding is the ‘A’ of BEAM (Biotechnology, Evidence-based medicine, Aspects of Compounding and Management).
The Summit is ‘free’ to participants, who are purposefully selected by their national association to attend based on their individual capacity to take the learning back to their country of origin and improve practice.

Registration, expenses and hotel accommodations
Registration now open. Please note all participants must have already been nominated by your national association to attend this event.
All participants to the Academy summit must:
1. be hospital pharmacists recommended by each country’s national association
2. be fluent in English
3. attend all seminar sessions
4. disseminate information learned in their countries
Dissemination is the main goal of the summit and EAHP will follow the progress of dissemination via the BEAM Diary and should participants not disseminate, EAHP may ask that participants and/or your national association contribute to the expenditures.
