Dear colleagues,

It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 12th Annual Congress of the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists in my own country, France, in the beautiful city of Bordeaux from 21 to 23 March 2007.

The main theme of the Congress is “New therapies in the 21st century: challenges for hospital pharmacy”, a promising subject every hospital pharmacist should feel concerned about. Besides, and as in previous congresses, the programme will feature a variety of other cutting edge topics for which the congress has become recognised as one of the premier educational events worldwide in the spring season of each year for hospital pharmacists.

The Annual Congress of the EAHP is the largest congress for hospital pharmacy in Europe, attended by some 2000 colleagues coming from all over the world. This provides for you a unique opportunity to meet  them, to network and to share best practice while keeping abreast on the latest developments in hospital pharmacy.

Bordeaux, the capital of the Aquitaine region, is an elegant city where art, fine gastronomy and hospitality are unsurpassed. The largest fine wine producing area in the world, which begins at the city outskirts, is paradise for wine lovers, and the immense sandy beaches of Arcachon bay, one hour drive away, will surely seduce you!

Both Scientific and Organising Committees are working hard to make this Congress a memorable success.
