  • Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (FRPharmS)
  • Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRPCH)
  • Retired from the UK National Health Service in December 2010 after 38 years in the NHS and 32 years as Chief Pharmacist and Clinical Director of Pharmacy at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, UK. Previously a member of the UK Commission on Human Medicines and the EMA Paediatric Working Party. Currently a member of the Paediatric Committee at EMA representing the profession of paediatric pharmacy and an advisor to WHO on essential medicines for children.

3. Research area:

His current areas of research include adverse drug reactions in children; manipulation of dosage forms; toxicity and kinetics of excipients in neonates.
