Hospital pharmacist in the Hospital of Sciacca (Provincial Health Unit of Agrigento).

2. Education:

2004: Degree in pharmacy

2007: Specialization in hospital pharmacy

2008: II level specializing master in oncology pharmacy

2011: II level specializing master in pharmaceutical technologies and regulatory activities

3. Research area:

Dr. Uomo has focused her work in the pharmaceutical services for the continuity of care and in the field of drug monitoring, expecially for off label prescriptions. Since 2008 she is part of the EAHP Delegation of Italian Association of Hospital Pharmacy (SIFO) and national coordinator of the EAHP Survey 2005 and 2010. Actually she is also country correspondent for Italy for the European Journal of Hospital Pharmacy.
