The EAHP holds its next annual congress in the very cultural city of Barcelona, Spain from 25-27 March 2009.

Entitled "IT and Automation for the Hospitals Pharmacists - tools for better care", the congress will address topics that are at the forefront of the daily work of hospital pharmacists in the field of computerization and technology, in addition to a variety of other subjects for which the EAHP congress has become recognised as one of the premier educational events worldwide in the spring season of each year.

Registration is now open and groups, as well as, individuals are invited to register online.This will be the first time that EAHP is managing its own events in-house with the prime order of business being the automation of the congress, in line with the congress overall theme; we could not find a better time to start with our congress software management!

Further to this, abstracts are also to be submitted online and processing them is largely supported by this new software. Please note that deadline for abstract submission is 31 October 2008, so mark your diary and take this opportunity to show case yours and your team's expertise.

Moreover, the congress will boast more than 50 exhibitors, on the 2 exhibition floors of the Palacio de Congressos de Catalunya, where some 2000 delegates are expected.
