EAHP 40th Anniversary
PRESS RELEASE
Hospital Pharmacy - The Past and the Future
Since its beginning, the European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP) has been growing and evolving through time, and is now proud to announce that it will be celebrating its 40th Anniversary next year-2012!
Many challenges have been encountered since its creation, and we are happy to say we have successfully faced them, helping the professionals in their condition and level of expertise as well as improving the level of care received by patients.
To mark this occasion, we will be preparing a comprehensive history book of the association that will be published in March 2012.
This anniversary will also mark one of our biggest achievements: the development and progresses made towards Hospital Pharmacy Specialization, which we believe will reshape and improve hospital pharmacy for decades to come across Europe.
To relate this last advancement and present the greatest achievements of the EAHP for the past 40 years, as well as the challenges to come, the EAHP President, Dr. Roberto Frontini, is conceding a special interview.
DATE AND TIME: Wednesday, 11 January 2012 at 11:00 a.m.
VENUE: EAHP office - Rue Abbé Cuypers, 3 B - 1040 Brussels, Belgium
