EAHP launches its new logo
October 2009 sees an important change for EAHP as it launches its new corporate identity
With a new president for EAHP, comes a new corporate identity as EAHP formally unveils its new logo.The new principle of a changing it was approved by the 2009 general assembly in June, in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Different designs were created and submitted to a vote of EAHP delegates over the summer. The requirement was for elements that clearly state the nature of the EAHP: pharmacy, hospital, Europe, an association. Symbols of pharmacy (cross, mortar, snake, drugs) hospitals (bed and blue cross) a pan-European association and the European Union (blue and stars) and the association’s acronym were welcomed.
It was a difficult decision as the vote was very tight but a final choice was made. EAHP trusts that this design will accurately represent its members, purpose, aim and scope.
