The European Medicines Agency (EMA) will hold a workshop to discuss the state-of-the-science of nanomedicines on 26-27 April 2010 at the Agency's offices in London.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together regulatory, academic, and industry scientists to share their experiences with the development and use of nanotechnologies in Medicinal Products. The application of nanotechnologies to medicinal science spans over the whole range of medicinal products from disease treatment and prevention to restoration, correction of modification of physiological function or medical diagnoses.
