IMPORTANT NOTE CONCERNING EDUCATION POINTS

The scanning of the badges is necessary to obtain the ACPE accreditation points and certificate of attendance. Please note that hostesses will be scanning badges at the end of each session only. Entrance to all sessions will not be permitted from 30 minutes before the ending of the session. It is the participants’ responsibility to be sure badges are scanned as changes will not be made after the Congress.

Participants are invited to fill in the Evaluation Forms in order to receive their ACPE accreditation certificate and Certificate of attendance. Please be reminded that you will only be able to download the certificate after the Congress.

The ACPE Certificate and the Certificate of attendance will only be provided to participants who have evaluated the sessions attended during the congress. Please complete the evaluation forms after each session you have attended through the EAHP Congress portal accessible from the EAHP website.

The EAHP team will send an email when the link to download the certificates is active. The personal logon code from your badge will be required to print the certificates. Please note that participants will have up to 60 days after the date of live activity to fill in these evaluation forms and claim their certificates

PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOS/WEBCASTS

EAHP reserves the right to use any photos and videos taken of participants during the congress events for EAHP marketing purposes, which may include the EAHP YouTube channel, Facebook page, etc. For group administrators, we ask that you inform your participants of this point.

By registering to attend the EAHP congress, you consent to receiving EAHP marketing emails, news and/or announcements. If you do not wish to receive these communications, please send an email to registration[at]eahp[dot]eu

DATA RETRIEVAL AND PROTECTION

During the congress, exhibitors and Satellite organisers may scan participants at their stands and at the entry of the industry satellite room. Each lead will contain the contact information as provided by the participant or the group registration contact person on the registration form (name, full address, telephone, fax, email and lead codes).

EAHP will also scan participants at the end of each accredited session for the only purpose of providing your ACPE educational points. This data will not be used for marketing purposes. Neither the congress organizer nor the provider of the scanners can be held liable for incorrect data.

You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your Personal Data at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. Please let us know prior to the beginning of the congress, by sending an email to privacy[at]eahp[dot]eu with the following subject: “Data retrieval consent withdrawn”. Should you decide to do this, please note that this also automatically deletes the data used by EAHP to give you the ACPE credits. Therefore, you will not be able to receive your ACPE certificate and certificate of attendance.

EAHP will also scan participants at the end of each accredited session for the only purpose of providing your educational points. This data will not be used for marketing purposes. Neither EAHP organizer nor the provider of the scanners can be held liable for incorrect data.

EAHP hereby agrees to respect the data privacy policy that you can find here: https://www.eahp.eu/page/privacy-statement

COVID-19

In certain circumstances Covid-19 will not constitute an event of force majeure as defined above in that it will not make it impossible to hold the event but will modify the practical arrangements. With the uncertainty surrounding the effect that Covid-19 might have on the major events sector, the parties recognise that there may be other implications regarding the holding of the Congress, whose consequences must be addressed hereinafter.

“Covid-19” in the sense of the present article includes (1) the disease known as Covid-19 and the pandemic thereof which began in March 2020 together with any subsequent outbreak of Covid-19, any mutations and variants thereof and any other similar but unrelated pandemic (2) the measures, recommendations, regulations and legislation imposed by the governments and/or public authorities of the country of the venue or the country of origin of the participants.

In the event that Covid-19 causes either (1) a significant increase in costs for EAHP above those experienced in the past congresses (2) substantial complications to maintain the Congress, the participants recognize and accept that EAHP will be entitled to cancel the Congress up to 15 days before its date, to retain the entire registration fee and to credit it for a future congress.”
