1. Current Status, Position

Dr van Onzenoort (PharmD, PhD) is Clinical pharmacist at Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre since 2009 and Director of Pharmaceutical Services and Logistics since 2014.

Previously he was a Hospital pharmacist at St. Jans Gasthuis, Weert (2008 - 2009)

2. Education

• 2003: PharmD at University Utrecht;
• 2004-2008: Resident Hospital pharmacist at Maastricht University Medical Centre;
• 2012: PhD at Maastricht University Medical Centre;

3. Research Area

Dr van Onzenoort's research focuses on adherence to treatment, epidemiology, and medication safety. He is specialised in adherence research and the application of several different adherence measures into clinical trials and observational research. Within this context he studies the effects of patient empowerment on drugs spillages and medication safety. Dr van Onzenoort supervises several PhD students.
