Prof Phil Wiffen (MSc BPharm) is Editor in Chief of the EJHP and senior researcher in pain medicine.

2. Education

Prof Phil Wiffen obtained a BPharm, and a MSc in evidence based pharmacotherapy. 

3. Research Area

Clinical Pharmacist by background, with longstanding interest in pain research and publishing, Prof Phil WIffen has a focus on evidence based medicine. He has almost 250 publications and two textbooks.

Prof Wiffen is actively involved in writing systematic reviews mainly about pain related topics. He also has an interest in antimicrobial resistance issues and regularly teaches on evidence based medicine and encouraging pharmacists to publish.
