2. Education

Florence Vandevelde is a pharmacist with a master’s degree in quality management. She joined Prescrire in 2005 as a project manager. [Prescrire is a not-for-profit organization that has published independent therapeutics information for 30 years. The journals la revue Prescrire, and its English edition Prescrire International (http://english.prescrire.org), are funded only by subscriptions.]

As representative of Prescrire, Florence Vandevelde is serving as Committee member of the International Society of Drug Bulletins (ISDB) and participates to the Medicines in Europe Forum (MiEF), a network working on European medicines policy.

As editor for Prescrire, Florence carries out reviews on health and society issues, particularly on medicines policy, as well as systematic reviews on the efficacy and safety of new drugs.
