2. Education

Graham has worked in UK universities for over 30 years. For most of this period he has been working in health science information service provision. Since 1990 he has combined a career as a researcher and practicing librarian. Over this period he has produced approaching 200 academic papers, edited books and conference presentations. He was Editor of Health Information and Libraries Journal (published by Wiley and Blackwell) between 2002 and 2008. He has edited two books on health information:
- Booth, A. and Walton, G. (jt. eds.) (2000) Management of the knowledge base in health care, Library Association Publishing
- Walton, G. and Booth, A. (jt. eds.) (2004) Exploiting information in health services Facet Publishing
 

His PhD explored the impacts of drivers for flexibility on higher education roles/ structures/ learning. Graham has a Masters in Business Administration from the UK’s Open University and a Masters in Educational Development. He is also has professional library qualifications.

3. Research Area

Graham’s current research interests are diverse and include the inter-relationship between physical and digital spaces, impact of information overload on different clinical roles and role of leadership in developing creativity and innovation.
