2. Education

• 1983 - 1988: Master Degree in Pharmacy, Medical University, Wroclaw, Poland,
• Postgraduate studies in pharmaceutical inspection, drug information and communication, School of Public Health in Cracow and Rennes, University of Wroclaw, University Complutense in Madrid,
• Various courses on management, public relations, pharmaceutical sector, drug information and communication in Poland, Spain and France,
• October 2007 onwards: Co-funder and Managing Partner of the First Independent Drug Information Center on-line in Poland for patients and health specialists – Innopharm, Wrocław, Poland. In this framework, her tasks are consinsting in:

- Answering of questions from patients and health professionals on drugs (indications, dosages, form, interactions, adverse reactions etc.)
- Doing consultancy of Polish and international drug data bases
- Teaching students and health professionals on drug information and communication
- Creating 2 independent drug bulletins - one for health professionals and one for patients
- Editing articles about drugs for health professionals and patients
- Co-operating with Public administration, Scientific Societies, Medical Universities, Pharmaceutical press in the field of drug information and communication in health sector
- Co-operating with drug information centers in UE, member of e-drug healthnet

• April  2005 - October 2007: Human Ressources and Training Manager in Pharmaceutical Company 
• June 2000 – March 2005: External Relations and Communication Manager in French Pharmaceutical Company
• February 1999 – May 2000: Production Director and Vice President of   Polish Pharmaceutical Company

• October 1992 – September 1993: Co-ordinator of UE training programme (Tempus-Phare) for pharmacy inspectors in the School of Public Health, Cracow and the National School of Public Health, Rennes
• May 1990 – October 1992: Hospital pharmacist in Regional Oncology Institute in Wroclaw

3. Research Area

Ewa Zygadlo is specialised in drug information and communication for pharmacists, medical doctors and patients. She gives courses on drug information and communication to pharmacy and medicine students, as well as courses on communication to pharmacists and patients. She has authored many articles about these subjects and released a book titled “Communication for pharmacists – theory and practice”, Ed. Farmapress, Warsaw 2005.
