2. Education

Hans Ebbers studied Biomedical Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit specializing in neuroscience and obtained his master’s degree in 2004. He obtained another master’s degree from the University of Amsterdam in 2006, graduating in the science technology and public management profile. Between 2006 and 2008 he worked at the medical affairs  department of a global biotechnology company. In 2012 he obtained his PhD at Utrecht University on regulatory challenges of biopharmaceuticals, including biosimilars. He worked as a lecturer in drug development at the department of innovation sciences at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development of Utrecht University.

3. Research Area

His research focuses on the safety evaluation of biopharmaceuticals and the effectiveness of regulatory requirements.
