1. Current Status, Position
Matts Balgård is currently a senior clinical pharmacist at Uppsala University Hospital. He is also an associated teacher in pharmacotherapy and clinical pharmacy at Uppsala University School of Pharmacy.
2. Education
Matts Balgård studied pharmacy at Uppsala University and became licensed to practice in 1999. He obtained a MSc in Clinical Pharmacy from Strathclyde University in Glasgow, UK 2007 and he also holds a Swedish post-graduate specialization degree in hospital pharmacy.
3. Research Area
Matts Balgård's professional areas of interest are geriatrics, teaching, clinical tutoring and professional development.
