Current Status, Position

Mr Andrew Davies is a Director of a hospital pharmacy for the NHS and has been involved in national hospital pharmacy improvement work for more than 5 years through the national Operational Productivity programme initiated from the 'Carter Report'. Measurement is a fundamental aspect of the Carter methodology and this has driven the uptake of pharmacy benchmarking. He provides subject matter expertise to the NHS 'in-house' benchmarking service NHS Benchmarking and the hospital pharmacy benchmarking programme is their largest service.

Education

Mr Andrew Davies received a Pharmacy Degree in 1987 and a clinical diploma in 1990. He held multiple NHS Roles across England including 17 years as a Hospital Chief Pharmacist in 3 organisations.
