Current Status, Position

Ravi Sharma is the Director for England at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, a senior GP practice pharmacist prescriber at Lea Valley Health GP Federation. He is also a member of the NHS Assembly and an honorary lecturer at the University College of London and the Imperial College of London.

Education

Ravi Sharma studied a Master of Pharmacy at UCL School of Pharmacy and became a licensed pharmacist in 2012. He has worked for NHS England delivering pharmacists roles into and across primary care at scale. In 2019, Ravi obtained a MSc at Imperial College London in Genomic Medicines, having a focused research project on the implementation of pharmacogenomics in the National Health Service (NHS).

Research Area

Ravi Sharma’s research area focuses on new models of care, new roles for pharmacists, pharmacogenomics and medicines safety.
