1. Current Status, Position

Nieko Punt is currently the managing consultant of Medimatics, a R&D company dedicated to the development of PKPD and TDM sotfware. 

2. Education

Mr Punt studied pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Groningen from which he graduated in 1987. During his study he developed a special interest in the use of computers for pharmacokinetic simulations. After his graduation he worked as researcher on the subject of calcium antagonists in ischemic heart disease.

3. Research Area

Nieko Punt is mainly involved in developing software algorithms and products for PKPD modeling and TDM.
